After studying law at Sapienza University of Rome, Angelo Rizzuti worked as a lawyer at the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg. He then spent more than 30 years holding executive positions in international business across several banks (notably UniCredit) and corporations.

Throughout his career, Angelo Rizzuti has been particularly responsible for trade and export finance, with a focus on cross-border infrastructure projects for European companies. During this time, he also served as a member of the Supervisory Board of Oesterreichische Kontrollbank AG. In addition to his native Italian, the passionate collector of old books speaks English, German, French, and Spanish.
