After studying law at Sapienza University of Rome, Angelo Rizzuti worked as a lawyer at the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg. He then spent more than 30 years holding executive positions in international business across several banks (notably UniCredit) and corporations.

Throughout his career, Angelo Rizzuti has primarily been responsible for trade and export finance, with a strong focus on cross-border infrastructure projects for European companies. During this time, he was also a member of the Supervisory Board of the Österreichische Kontrollbank AG. In addition to his native Italian, the passionate collector of rare books speaks English, German, French, and Spanish.
