With three decades of professional experience at the intersection of the humanities, law, business, and communications, Dominik Orieschnig stands for building processes that transform human potential, societal needs, and corporate goals into successful, meaningful structures. Together with the InterMedTec team, he pursues this approach for the healthcare sector—one of the major societal challenges of the future.
Following a multilingual humanistic education in Italy, studies in international relations at the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna, and an interdisciplinary academic curriculum at the Karl-Franzens University of Graz, the Paris-Lodron University of Salzburg, and the Johannes-Kepler University of Linz, Dominik Orieschnig held various management, spokesperson, and advisory roles in both public and private institutions.
Among other positions, he served as a legal advisor to the Austrian Bishops' Conference, as a manager of humanitarian organizations with duties at the Vatican and in Brussels, and as a corporate spokesperson for a global healthcare market leader operating in over 100 countries, where he was also responsible for protecting human rights in international supply chains.
As a legal scholar, Dominik Orieschnig was awarded the prestigious Cardinal Innitzer Encouragement Prize for habilitation-equivalent scientific achievements. He is the author of several books and a sought-after speaker on contemporary issues. Known for a deep affinity for art and culture, the former soloist with the world-famous Vienna Boys' Choir experienced a formative early stage career featuring international concert tours, opera performances, and record recordings.
